Each work combines floral imagery with materials gathered from everyday life...receipts, newspapers, tickets, and printed matter, allowing memory and place to remain visible beneath the painted surface.  Collage materials include collected New Orleans receipts, newspapers, event listings, and everyday printed ephemera. 

All paintings are one-of-one originals. No prints are currently produced.

An amalgamation of African lily, rainbow decor, and a resting feline…all actual objects I encountered recently during my daily walks throughout the Garden District and the Irish Channel in a meditational scavenger hunt in pursuit of joy and whimsy.  The loose jumbled composition mirrors my daydreams: full of vigor, joy, and random beauty.
